Deuteronomy 1: 1-8
Moses reminds Israel of the promise that God had given them, they had long time wandering in the desert and it was necessary that they be reminded again of taking the land that he swore to his ancestors. Apparently they were so comfortable in the place where they were. It has not happened many times in which you have seen yourself circling in the same place for days, months, years and you are still in the same situation and you are forgetting the purpose for which God brought you here on earth. Your life is drying up and there are no dreams because you have settled so well in the place where you are.
Moses had to get up and tell Israel what God had commanded so that they would understand that they had to leave the place where they were.
Deuteronomy 1: 6-7
When we were in Horeb, the Lord our God commanded us: "You have already stayed too long on this mountain. 7 Get on the move and go to the mountainous region of the Amorites and to all the neighboring areas: the Arabah, the mountains, the western plains, the Negev and the coast, to the land of the Canaanites, the Lebanon and the great river, the Euphrates.
God does not want you to stay where you are, it is necessary to rise to a new level, take the place that God has given you as his son, Israel was his people and you are his son. Deuteronomy 1: 8 is the promise that God has for you.
Deuteronomy 1: 8
I have given them this land; Go ahead, take possession of her! "The Lord swore that he would give it to your ancestors, that is, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and their descendants.
FORWARD, TAKE POSSESSION OF IT! It is time to leave the desert of affliction, of the desert of comparison, of the desert of scarcity, of the desert of depression, What desert are you passing that does not let you go further? Maybe you think you do not deserve what God is giving you for your past. You know? The people of Israel were loved by God but they were not perfect. He always lived complaining, muttering, living from the past because they brought to mind how they lived in Egypt, but the love of God was never exhausted to them, nor will it be with you. HE LOVES YOU and he has not stopped dreaming about you. He longs for you to take what he has already given you as an inheritance, your promised land are your dreams, the plans by which God brought you here.
Deuteronomy 1: 11
May the Lord, the God of your ancestors, multiply them a thousand times more, and bless them as promised!
